The Clarksburg Farmers Market is set to return this Saturday, giving residents another opportunity to shop local, enjoy live music and spend the morning supporting businesses and organizations from across the community.
The market will take place Saturday, August 29th, from 9 a.m. to 1 p.m. in the Tractor Supply parking lot. The event will be held rain or shine.
Shoppers can browse a variety of fresh food, produce and locally made goods throughout the morning while connecting directly with area farmers, growers and vendors.
Betty Waddy, president of the Clarksburg Farmers Market, said she and the other organizers are looking forward to another busy weekend at the market.
“It’s more than a market, it’s our community, so come out and taste the local goodness straight from the source.”

Adding to Saturday’s atmosphere will be live music from Emmy of the Mountains, who will perform from 10 a.m. to 1 p.m. Visitors can enjoy the music while browsing the market, grabbing something to eat and spending time with friends and neighbors.
Anyone arriving hungry will also have several options to choose from. Cosmo’s Kitchen & Catering, Slush & Slice and Blessed & Grounded are scheduled to be on hand, offering food and refreshments throughout the event.
The Clarksburg-Harrison Public Library will once again serve as this week’s Community Spot. The Community Spot gives local organizations an opportunity to connect with market visitors, share information and highlight the programs and resources they provide to the community.
Whether visitors are looking to pick up fresh produce and locally made products, enjoy lunch from a local food truck, listen to live music or simply spend a Saturday morning in the community, the market offers a little something for everyone.
The Clarksburg Farmers Market will be open from 9 a.m. to 1 p.m. Saturday, Aug. 29, in the Tractor Supply parking lot, with live music scheduled from 10 a.m. to 1 p.m.
Residents are encouraged to stop by, shop local and enjoy another Saturday at the Clarksburg Farmers Market.
